My standard rate is $120 per 50 minute session. Payment is due at the time of service.
No, I am a private pay therapist.
I've chosen not to work with insurance in order to offer more flexible and personalized care. Insurance companies assert a level of control over therapy sessions by requiring mental health diagnoses, limiting the type of treatments covered, and limiting the number of sessions covered. I believe in therapy being a space where you don't have to worry about your autonomy and privacy.
I believe in making mental healthcare affordable. Therefore, I offer a limited number of reduced-fee appointments based on financial need. Please ask about current availability.
I offer virtual sessions for clients all across Texas. Telehealth sessions are conducted through a HIPAA compliant platform.
I hope to be able to open up in-person appointments in the North Texas area soon!
I understand many people have busy schedules, and it can be difficult to find time for yourself during the week. I am happy to offer a variety of session times, including night and weekend appointments.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes and usually scheduled weekly. Frequency can be adjusted based on your goals and needs.
Change is not a linear process. The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and needs. Some clients attend for a few months, while others engage in more long-term work. We'll regularly check in on your progress.
A strong therapeutic relationship is important. I encourage you to ask questions during our consultation or first session(s). If at any point it doesn't feel like the right fit, I'm happy to help with referrals.
The first session is a time for us to begin to get to know each other. You'll have a safe space to share any of your concerns or worries. Together, we'll discuss the therapy process and begin to create a plan.
